Heavy chest and hard to breathe
close my eyes and hate what i see
the battle rages on tonight
but i will not give up the fight
feelin like i'm beat down
by chains im bound
but i know i am free
because of Jesus in me.
i feel the wieght of the war inside
it hurts so bad but i know why
You are preparing me for greater glory
and each pain is part of the story
even when im beat down
face to the ground
i lift my hands
to the Son of Man
Grace falls freely to my soul
as i feel Him make me whole
Binds up the wounds in my heart
because i know i did my part
i put this beat down
to stand my ground
encourage you to endure
because in Him you are secure
